 GENERAL CONDITIONS: Age Limit: Drivers must be at least 25 years of age.
DROP OFF: Complimentary drop-off at airport/hotels within town limit.
DAMAGE TO VEHICLE/INSURANCE/PAYMENT: Renter is responsible for all damages or loss of the rental vehicle. However, this liability can be reduced if our Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is taken which is US$15.00 per day for a US$1,000.00 deductible (Renter pays first US$1,000.00 of damage). If the renter uses a credit card which offers motor vehicle insurance coverage which includes the island of Jamaica, then the renter may decline our CDW and have the vehicle fully covered under their credit card insurance. To our knowledge the only credit cards offering coverage in Jamaica at this time are World MasterCard from the U.S.A.and MasterCard’s Gold and Platinum issued from Canada. Please verify with your credit card company. DEPOSIT: A refundable deposit will be collected on all rentals. US$1,000.00 for cars and US$1,500.00 for minivans. DRIVERS LICENSE: Drivers license with no endorsements, valid international, U.S.A, Canadian and nearly all foreign licenses are accepted for driving in Jamaica. TERMS OF PAYMENT: Rental and deposits may be charged to any major credit card subject to proper authorization by Credit Card Company. ADDITIONAL DRIVER: The renter may authorize another person to operate the rental vehicle but our office must authenticate their driver’s license. The additional driver will be equally responsible for the vehicle and is required to abide by the conditions as set out in the Rental Agreement. MANDATORY FEE: Government tax: 16.5%. FOOTNOTE:* Clients choosing to use their credit card insurance have a choice of accepting Public Liability Insurance from the rental company at US$5.50 per day as most credit card companies does not offer Public Liability Insurance.
